Description

Modern organic designer lampshade.

 

About 25 cm in diameter

0.5 mm wall thickness

0.12 mm layer height.

 

I tested this at a 0.2-layer height but had a failure. My Bambu Lab A1 could not handle the overhang with 0.2 layer height. But 0.12 came out beautifully. It's worth the extra time.

 

Here, it is printed in Bambu lab PLA Basic Beige.

It also prints well in Basic White, Matte Ivory White, and Matte Desert Tan.

 

42 mm opening for a standard E27 mount. For example: Ikea cord set HEMMA https://www.ikea.com/se/en/p/hemma-cord-set-white-10386577/

I had som quality issues that got better when I lowered the speed. It did not look exactly like yours though. But it might be worth it ty try to make all the speeds and accelerationens half. Big thinwalled or vase mode models can start to wobble as they get higher. Reducing the speed reduces the wobble.

Hi, it may be related to extrusion. I saw such a problem/solution explanation on the bamboo wiki page. I couldn't remember the solution because I hadn't encountered it before.

I reduced the print speed and it turned out there was a problem with my fan, so I replaced it and it’s fixed

Print has some holes here and there, also light doesn't shine evenly throughout. Wouldn't recommend waiting 6 hours for this.

Other Issues:Unfortunately, I have several problems with the lines From the middle, they are flawed, and towards the end, the same problem reappears Otherwise, the result would be great So now I have printed it 3 times, even with dried Bambu PLA filament, and still the same result 300 grams of PLA wasted Such a shame

You need perfect try material. I recommend to use original BambuLab Matte PLA. And dry it some hours before you print

Your filament can be moist even if the AMS is not. Drying some more is never a bad idea.

Perfect! I printed the lamp in translucent Blue-Violet PLA+. Printed flawlessly at normal speed

It printed smoothly in PETG as advertised. very beautiful design and it will be making my kitchen more cheery. I used metallic green from flash forge. here’s a boost thank you very much. I have one more pendant to go.
