This model is designed to fix the fatigue problem with most clips. I experienced that 3D print item can be fatigue over a period of time. When new, it works very well. Then after a while, it will be loose and cannot grab the spool very well. Some clips may be stronger and harder to become loose but it's so hard to clip. This Roller Filament Clip is my take to fix the problem. Since this is still new, I'm not sure how well it will work over a longer period of time but it should by the concept.
How to use
- You might have to force turn the roller to break it apart from the core to make it move after print.
- Put the clip on the spool (it should be loose)
- Insert in filament in (recommend to insert from the left).
- Turn the roller a little bit if it's to tight to insert.
- Turn the roller left (clockwise) to tighten
- Turn the roller right (counterclockwise) to loosen
Enjoy printing.
