  • I strongly recommend drying the plastic on this spool only in a horizontal position (for example in a fruit dehydrator). Drying in a vertical position when exposed to 1 kg of plastic will most likely lead to deformation or print the spool from ABS or ASA.
  • Not intended for vacuum packaging.
  • Not intended for use on side holder.
  • Not intended for user's winding.
  • Using it with AMS Lite is possible, but some users are happy with it and some are not. I haven't personally tested it.
  • The use of a lock is mandatory.

Despite the fact that the built-in clips did not catch on any part of the AMS body during the tests, they are still unpleasantly close to one of them. Therefore, I decided not to wait for a precedent and moved the clips to where they 100% will not catch on anything. The shape of the filament indicator was also changed to a more symmetrical one, as well as the font of the numbers.

After analyzing several remixes on the spool, I decided to make my own, where I will not just chop up the STL from Bamboo Lab, but use reverse engineering and do everything as it should be.

 

The model turned out to be quite light, durable and got a place for a sticker, a filament remaining meter and also more convenient filament thread fasteners, in general, everything in one.

 

No claims to the accuracy of the filament remaining meter are accepted, the marks were transferred from the sticker that Bambu Lab provides with the spool. In any case, such marks have a purely approximate accuracy.

 

Works with AMS Lite.

 

A little extra piece it's a lock.
