Mini Update - 2025/02/24

Two profiles added, regular size and A1 Mini. These profiles include a 5mm holes in the calendar body where the track plates sit. These holes are for easier track removal if your magnets are a little too strong.

I recently received a request by a user on here asking if I can make the profiles include pegs in place of magnets. I have added two profiles, one for the full sized calendar and one for the A1 Mini.

I think this makes this officially the ultimate calendar since it no longer requires any hardware.

!!UPDATE 2024/12/24!!

Added a new profile for users that do not have an AMS. The calendar body is now printed in 3 pieces, the inner body, outer brim and the F1 Logo. You will need to glue it together.

For the track plates, I have added a pause at layer 15, which is right before the track and text starts. Another pause happens at layer 23, which is when the text has completed, this is where you swap to the final color of the track. Yes, part of the track will have the colors of the text included near the middle. Consider it a stylish stripe.

!!UPDATE 2024/12/23!!

- Updated the original print profile to include minor changes. Originally, I used periods in between letters of abbreviated country name. Turns out I can't read and missed some periods for the USA files. I went back and removed the periods entirely for all country names that had them. I also included the desk stand in this profile instead of it being separate.

- Added complete A1 Mini file. This file includes plenty of optional items and the magnets used are 5x2mm.

I also went with a BMW theme for this one. Then I realized BMW isn't even in F1. Oh well.

Unfortunately at the size of the print, using a 0.4mm nozzle to print the names of the tracks is basically impossible. So I inlcuded 2 versions of the plates.

Option 1

These have no track name, just the circuit and the country name. Can be printed at 0.4mm with no problems.

Option 2

These are like the full sized model, but you need a 0.2mm nozzle to get the small details, otherwise don't waste your time.

For both these options, you WILL need to use the Arachne setting for the walls, if you use Classic, the slicer won't pick up the walls on the tracks.

Printed these in PETG-HF like before. If you are printing with PLA, you may be able to get away without using supprots on the plates since it's such a short distance for the overhang. I just don't trust PETG enough to try it.

Added profile for a desk stand

Let me start off by saying, I know nothing about F1. A friend of mine is into F1 and I wanted to make something for them. While there are plenty of different schedules to print, I noticed that I would need to print one every year and I wanted to create one where the track schedule is interchangeable.

So welcome to the ultimate F1 calendar. I have designed it to use 10x2mm magnets to hold the different track plates in. The magnet size may be a bit overkill, but it is what I had at the time. If you would like different magnet slots, please let me know.

I could have made the print in a way to hide the magnets under the layers, but this could introduce complications to the print for some, so stick to good ol' glue with the magnet.

Additionally, if you would like additional tracks added, feel free to ask. I added a couple already that have been in rotation in formula 1 in the past few years.

I printed the entire thing in PETG-HF using the 0.4mm nozzle in the generic red/black/white colors. DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF TO ONLY THESE COLORS, go crazy and upload your photos!

If you have time and want the most detail, go with the 0.2mm. It will take 3 days to print the entire model that way, but it will look much better! I have added a photo of a plate printed in 0.2 and one in 0.4.

There is also a shelf includes in the profile that you may print to wall mount the calendar.

Please take note. When printing the calendar, you WILL need to remove your purge line (load line) before the print starts. So right after it is laid down by your printer, grab it and remove it. If not, it will make contact with the body of the calendar and could gunk up the nozzle.
