My 5 year old got some of these at school and said he loves them. So I modeled these after those. These interlock on all sides. The kids will build whatever comes to mind which is good for learning.
A $25 1KG spool will cost about $0.80 per 60.
I'm still working on refining how this works with more shapes. The problem I run into is .2mm in one size and it's too tight, .2mm in the other direction and it's too loose. So when you fit onto these with this shape you can squeeze it in the longer stems but you it won't slide down flush. But they will connect and you can build stuff. It will keep a tight connection. I'll keep working on it.
V2. I made 50% larger and rounded edges. 2 shapes added.
V6 now and hopefully the last. 25% larger. I've messed with this for a while now and I think I have the best fit so far. There is a tight fit but not too tight in all directions. Ana also 3 different shapes added to the profile. I've deleted the older profiles.
