Customizable holder for micro hooks
Print Profile(7)

Description
This is a small holder, for storing micro hooks that are often used with a logic analyzer or other measuring equipment, for grabbing onto small contacts.
It's inspired by the similar holder that is included with the Saleae Logic/Logic Pro when purchased now, but the one I have is an older model, where 9 pcs of the E-Z-HOOK XKM was included but no holder.
This holder is designed to work with the E-Z-HOOK XKM series or the Hantek HT321, and uses a friction fit with a single contact point to hold onto the micro hook. This ensures the micro hooks stays in the holder, also if the whole thing is turned upside down.
On paper, these hooks are supposed to be the same dimension at the middle of the stem, where the friction fit engages, but testing have shown (at least with the ones I have bought) that there are tiny differences between the two brands, and that is the reason there are two sets of files.
If you print these, and find the fit either too tight or too loose to your liking, you can use the customizer (or OpenSCAD), to adjust how tight the holding feature is. It's only a few hundreds of a millimeter difference between nice and either too tight or too loose, so maybe adjust it up or down at 0.05 mm at a time.
Using the customizer, it's also easy to make different size, in case 8, 9 or 10 does not cover your needs.
Update Jan 18th 2026
Added version 1.1 of the OpenSCAD file for use with the customizer that adds an “Extra Height” parameter that can be set to something like 3 mm. This will give you a extra space in the bottom preventing the metal parts of the hooks to poke out if the hooks are pressed when inside the case. Only the new SCAD file is added and the existing print profiles are not changed, so if you would like to print a model with this extra height, please use the customizer to generate a model and export that.
