Description

THE THWACK

Here it is! A big thank you to Mr. MegaTronic for this awesomme hammer.

I tuned it for a Bambu printer, and made a hole in the handle for lesser filament use, but at no cost to the functionality of the hammer.
Surprisingly sturdy and can use to hammer down those 3d prints. I use it for magnet insert, nuts, bearings and plastic vs. plastic ;-)

And the best thing, full speed ahead on the X1C - printet in sportsmode.

Strength Issue:It printed well but the layer line orientation means with a strong blow of the hammer the hammer head may pop off. It did pop off in my case.

Did you do it with 75% infill or more? And try to print it while it flat on the bed.

Replying to @JabbaTheHutt :
Yes 75% infill. I have not tried flat, which would be a different profile. The upright profile is what I am rating, it results in a weak hammer.

I used PLA+ for the hammer and supports. I didn’t change any settings and that might of bin my fault if it didn’t turn out good. If you have any advice on supports I will try and print again and change my review.

My sons love this, printed easily as well. I layed it on the side ( for better layer strenght ), and peinted it out of PLA with PETG as a support interface.
