Description

Summary

'LCES' stands for Lookouts-Communications-Escape routes-Safety zones. The elements of LCES form a safety system used by Wildland Firefighters to protect themselves from entrapment from free-burning wildfires and other fire line hazards.

We keep these reminders around so we stay as safe as possible while working on the fire lines. I made this sign so we can hang it over our accountability board as a further reminder to always use LCES to reevaluate our situations as we are working.

Stay in the black brothers and sisters. Stay safe and we will see you in the camps.
