Flexi Bobblehead Grinch

Description
Summary
NOTE: I am working on a flexi max that I hope to release soon so stay tuned!
As a fun holiday centerpiece, or arch nemesis for the elf on the shelf (the grinch in a pinch?), this grumpy little green guy is ready to steal the joy out of anything remotely Christmas themed!
(better pics to follow, and some grinch puns)
This is my first attempt at a flexi model, as well as my first bobblehead. I have had this green filament for a while and always thought it would be fun to make a grinch with it. Christmas seemed like a good time. My original idea was to give it hair like this lion (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2007221) but that did not work so well.
Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Print Settings
Printer Brand:
Bambu Lab
Printer:
A1
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Notes:
In my first attempt at printing this, the spring came off the bed so the pole came out very blobby, so I used a inner brim on my second attempt.
The head has more tolerance than the body, but I had to file it a bit, while the body fit perfectly. You may need to adjust slicer settings based on your printer to get a good fit, or scale up the head slightly.
Post-Printing
You have to make sure to put the head on the body first or the spring will push down and make it impossible. For the eyes, I used correction fluid and a permanent marker, but any paint would work.
How I Designed This
This was my first project using SculptGL, which was fun. All of this was modeled from scratch in sculpgl except the spring and pole, which were done in mattercontrol and assembled in bambustudio.
A Moment to Reflect
As we celebrate this season, while the grinch is a fun movie, it is not grinchmas, but CHRISTmas, and may we always remember the true reason for the holiday. May you have peace and joy this season. God bless you and merry Christmas.
