Description

A potato slicing tool to make nice potato spirals for the deep fryer.

Printing:

The cutter is printed in PLA with 0.16 mm layerheight
The handle is printed in PLA with 0.2mm layerheight

Usage:

You need a metal pike with 2mm diameter.

Put the slicer onto the pike with the screw facing down.
put the potato on the pike
put everything onto the handle
now turn the screw into the potato and slice it all the way

The handle came off the printer bed, even though I was printing with a brim. The printer bed was clean...

thats why i write use 3Dlack or another glue in the description

that is not due to the file but to your printer or print bed clean it with soap with warm water and try again

haven’t tried it on a potato yet but printed 3 till I got the right size to fit on a common skewer. 122%

I came back here to edit the device after trying it… so does it work? Yes it does. Is it easy? It’s a 50-50 opinion on my behalf. You can see by my image the results are there, please note this was one single potato, so maybe size matters, but in all starting from the bottom to the top, it started off fairly well and then I believe I was putting too much pressure which got the handle blade disalignment with the corkscrew part so it started making thicker and uneven cork potato slices. I used PLA tough to make this and it works!
