Description

2025 UPDATE: Released a V2 of the Multi-Part model! No glue required now - just snap-fit the pieces together with included connectors! :)

Celebrate the holidays with your very own 3D printable Elf on the Shelf! It's a flexi, available as completely print-in-place or split up by colors!

Ideal Print Settings:

Filament: PLA (I used Creality & Kingroon PLA, but any should work!)

Layer Height: .16mm

Supports: Tree, build plate only, critical regions, remove small overhangs

^ these are also included in the print profile!

Boost Me (for free)

This took me a loooong while to model - if it brings you some holiday fun, please give the model a boost!

Keep an eye out for some fun elf varieties on my profile in the coming week! Hoping to make a dummy 13 version soon so they're super poseable.

*Note: v1 of the model had some issues with the arms popping out at smaller sizes - just updated both print profiles, they should be more secure now!

Like, how to remove the circle altogether or how to get supports out of it?

The circle in the glove should be an indent matching a circle on the red part of the arm to help line them up when gluing - it should be hollow so it fits! looks like maybe yours got messed up with supports?

how did you attach the hands? I'm printing it out and I cannot get the hands to attach to the arms and I'm guessing I need to glue the white chest piece to the chest.

Yes, they both need to be glued - sorry, I completely forgot to note that in the description, just a dab of superglue on both parts will do the trick

Thanks. You might want to fix the wrist area of the arms so it doesn't have a gap between the hands and the wrist or remove the cover on the hand joint so it can fit over the exiting wrist stud.

Chose Brown for the hair , and put a little pink on his cheeks. Used two prints. One redish and other white. And hand painted the face

Love the print. However, the top of the head doesn’t fit snug with the white part of the hat, there’s a gap in many sections. Evenso, it’s still super cute.

Nice model. It printed well, except for the end where the colours bled into each other a bit, but that was my fault as I hadn't got the print settings dialled in. I reduced the size by a third for an 8-hour print.
