Description

Simple models mainly intended for cutting the PTFE tube to suitable length pieces for the AMS button covers. This suggests using 18mm tubes, while this suggests 30mm tubes. Also included the 10mm version, which is not recommended especially with abrasive filaments.

These models will help in cutting the PTFE tubes to pieces with consistent length and straight/clean ends… which are probably not strictly required for the AMS button covers, but nice to have anyway. In case you want exactly precise length tubes, make sure to use an exacto knife blade with a flat edge pushed against the wall of the cutting guide (as in the picture).

Printing these doesn't require anything special, apart from the fact that I'd suggest printing them on their side in order to avoid weak spots caused by the layer lines. No supports or brim needed. I used red Bambu Lab Matte PLA with the default profiles; no issues regarding the adhesion or end result in general.
