Description

Designed and tested only in TPU for the layer adhesion properties (ASA, PETG, and PLA prototypes of early friction-fit models kept splitting apart at the layer lines) - some have reported mixed success with PETG but I strongly recommend (and can only attest to) TPU

First attempt at replicating the updated design for the backup cameras of the 2025 Model 3/Y's - aim being to improve water/grime-shedding and protection. Design includes the “points” that Tesla incorporated (that I've seen some other printed options lack), as I think these may help shed water.

This is the first revision, will be continuing to test & tweak - let me know if you have any recommendations!

Updated 12/19/2024: Tweaked design to adjust some fillet and chamfer radii; updated print profile for more reliably improved print quality (reduced stringing primarily)
