Description

Just made this simple guide for stripping wires and cables for scrapping copper. It needs to be bolted down with 5mm screws, then you just use the hole above to guide the razor blade and pull the wire through.

Small model is for 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm wires and big model is for 10, 12, 14, 16, 18mm.

I included openscad files so you can customize it for your wire diameters, blade thickness, bolts and over all size.

this print worked extremely well for the thinner braided wire that my stripping machine normally chews up (lamp cord specifically). tip: pull the wire through twice to more easily remove the casing.

This is a great print to make for stripping waste wires. It took me a while to work out the easiest way to get the wire out of the plastic casing, but once worked out it worked fantastic. Thanks
