Dual-Mode Magnetic EDC Pusher with Recoil

Inspired by a friend showing off their new EDC pusher, I decided to make my own.

Uses seven 5mm diameter, 3mm thick cylindrical magnets. Thinner magnets might also work (if your 5mm magnets don't fit, you might need to employ some gentle force...).

The magnet holes have tolerances for easy installation. Testing shows that 5mm magnets fit snugly without glue.

*Dual Mode*

In addition to the standard gameplay, this model offers an alternative play style (A Unique Feature).

Push the pusher to the end with the longer travel; the magnets will slightly catch the top cover but won't fully engage. A slight push will cause it to rapidly snap back (instantaneous action).

Holding it and triggering this action may even produce a slight recoil?

Assembly Instructions:

After installing the magnets, align the protrusions on the top cover with the recesses on the bottom cover and insert.

Be careful not to lose the four cylindrical rollers; they should be placed in the slots as shown in the image below to allow for smooth sliding.

The top cover can be removed vertically when it is in the central position. Be careful not to open it carelessly; the cylindrical rollers are quite difficult to find if they fall out...
