Description

I deigned this spacer to take up the gape between a Baofeng UV-5R, or many other popular Baofeng handhelds, and a Nagoya NA-771G antenna, the most commonly recommended antenna for GMRS on a UV-5R.

This print can be used with or without the rubber antenna washer but the antenna tightens (clocks) with the logo and model number facing out if it is used.

More than just a washer, this print has geometry to ensure a clean print and a tight fit without any sharp edges.

The current slicer profile was designed and tested with PLA and PLA+, comments have reported issues when using PETG but I will work on this next.

fits great and works great even if it’s not a 771 or baofeng. works on most handheld with sma connectors.

While it's not a PERFECT fit, works well enough for BAOFENG BF-888S - printed 6 of them to color coordinate for identification for the family walkies (we use them for fun when out working in the yard or riding the ATV).

That’s great to hear it worked for you. If you have a set of calipers and provide me some metric measurements, I’d happily create a better fitting version. If its something simple, we might be able to eyeball the change needed.

I REALLY appreciate that! But all is well, the only thing is it sticks out just a wee bit instead of being more flush with the antenna (which maybe it's meant to?) - we were about to write on our walkies with different color paint markers, this works much better!

you’re welcome and thank you for the model! I printed it in PETG at first because I thought the sheen would match the radio better, but it really didn’t work well. I used my known good settings and filament profile, I dunno what happened. I think the supports just bonded too well and it all came apart when I went to remove them. PLA worked perfectly though!
