Antonov AN-225 with Buran 1:400

Antonov AN-225 with Buran, 1:400 scale.

Soviet/Ukraine heavy cargo plane, heaviest cargo plane ever built with the largest wingspan of any operational aircraft. Enlarged version of the AN-124 for transporting the Soviet Buran spacecraft (Soviet space shuttle). Buran was the first and only Soviet Space Shuttle ever built.

The Thingiverse model from which this is derived had a disproportionate Buran (too large) and skewed. I sliced off and deleted the included Buran, resized the AN-225 for 1:400 and sliced for printing. Imported another more accurate Buran, resized for 1:400 for scale accuracy.

Supports needed for wings and tail. Glue necessary (used superglue). Connected with dowels - please check for fit prior to gluing. Printed in Bambu PLA Basic white, painted with acrylic markers by my in-house 10yo plane enthusiast.
