8mm Stainless Steel Balls (10PCS) - FA005

Description

Boost Me (for free)

There are 20+ parts in this print that all fit together and print without support. If you appreciate this model as much as I do, please share your boost with me.

This model took me way too long to make. For those interested, it was made in Fusion360. It made me lose my marbles! This print requires no AMS and no supports by design.

I only have printed marbles. I acknowledge they sometimes bounce and go flying, but that's part of the fun! (definitely not an excuse) . One user has reported better reliability by scaling the entire print by 4%, so you may want to consider that.

I recommend using 8mm steel balls if you have them. You can choose to glue pieces or shove some leftover brim pieces (from the print) in the gaps to secure the towers.

All the hinges are made with a piece of 1.75 mm filament. This includes the ToppleTower™, the mechanism in the base, and the seesaw in the upper tower. So 3 hinges.
This piece is printed with 100% infill to add weight to the bottom (look at the preview, it is hollow in the top). If your tower doesn't topple, try reducing the infill percentage to 50% and go from there.
