Description

Waterburg Castle and Its Secret

In a desolate landscape, there stood the ancient castle of Waterburg. The castle guarded a deep well, the only source of water in the entire region.

Legend has it that the well was dug by Lord Ondrys during a devastating drought. From that time on, it became a symbol of hope and survival. Yet, every drop of water was closely guarded. Its use was strictly limited to ensure the spring would last for generations to come.

When rumors spread of an approaching army of conquerors, the lord of the castle made a fateful decision. If the castle faced imminent capture, the well would be filled in and disguised, so the invaders could never take advantage of its precious gift. This choice embodied the inhabitants' unwavering determination to protect their source of life, no matter the cost.
