Since the invention of gunpowder in China, the cannon has been a staple in modern warfare. This model has rolling wheels and a fully moveable turret piece that is aimed by moving a cross iron in one of 4 holes in the chassis rear. It has a 2 piece axle that friction fits together with a printed pin.

  • The turret print vertically on its muzzle with tree supports that easily break off.
  • Supports came off easily though some pliars were used to clean out the dovetails joints on the chassis.
  • A flat tool was used to pop out the cannon pivot holes in the chassis. Insert the cannon pivot pin into the pivot point (bottom of turret), then put the chassis pieces around it. Start the doevtail joints together just a bit. The fit is tight and you'll have to tap them in to place. Do not forget to have the turret and pivot pin in place prior to tapping in the dovetails. The dove tails will not come back out (easily).
  • Push on the “metal” wheel covers over the “Wooden” wheels.
  • Place each axle half through the wheels.
  • Use the small axle pin to connect the two axle pieces together.
  • The cross iron can be moved around freely to either hold up or hold down the turret tang to adjust the aiming angle.
  • The assembled turret and chassis just sit on top of the axle.
  • The assembled model is just inside 9" x 4" x 3" as pictured.
