Project/Screw box with push lock lid

This is a fairly small and flat box that is ideal for putting small parts into as you are disassembling something else. --

• 8x small compartment, 1x large compartment for bigger parts.
• All compartments have finger ramps on the front edge, so parts can be scooped out easily
• Lid held on by 2x M3 20mm screws and nuts that you supply. The nuts are actually optional.
• Lid snaps closed by pressing near the latch. You can one-handed open by lifting the latch.
• Easy two part print that you can do in different colours if you like!

Printing

This is fairly simple print of two parts. The base takes about 2 hours, the lid about an hour. I suggest making the lid out of a filament with fairly good layer adhesion. I use the now-discontinued “PLA Tough” for this, almost anything will work though.

Usage and Assembly

Print the two parts, screw in the hinges. To close the lid, push on the lid near the latch for it to snap on. To open, lift the latch.
