Description

"Gordy's gone, man. I'll be outside. Good luck." - SFC Randall Shughart.

Simple morale patch in memory of Sergeant First Class Randall Shughart and Master Sergeant Gary Gordon's last stand in Mogadishu on October 3rd, 1993, defending the only survivor of the Blackhawk “Super Six Four” crash, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Michael Durant. Their selfless sacrifice in the face of overwhelming odds are credited with saving the life of CWO Durant. Both would be awarded posthumous Congressional Medals of Honor. The movie is great, but the men are even more remarkable in Mark Bowden's book, and of course, Michael Durant's own memoir, “In the Company of Heroes”.

The patch measures 2" tall, 2.8" wide and .125" tall. I've printed mine in PETG, but should work in whatever material. Can also be scaled up to whatever size if so desired.
