Bender Figurine (Modular, No Glue Required)

Here is a model of Bender from the TV show Futurama. He is very modular and almost all parts can be maneuvered. He comes with two choices of eyes and mouth.

Assembly (pieces grouped for ease of assembly):

1. Take the inner and outer pieces of the eye frame and combine them with the eyes (choose your favorite) using the included pupils. Attach this whole assembly to Bender's head using the pupils. Add the mouth (choose your favorite) by aligning the piece from the inside going from the neck hole. Remove the three thin bars from the mouth (used to print without supports). If the mouth with a hole was chosen, add the cigar. Attach Bender's antenna to the top of his head. Attach Bender's neck to the completed head piece. (All pieces printed in one section for ease of assembly)

2. Use a knife to remove some of the supports on the door inside Bender's torso until you can push the door open. Attach the shoulder joints to the torso. Secure the shoulder joints with the included bracket (see image below). This can be made easier by opening the door in Bender's torso, but you will still likely need an additional tool like pliers. Then attach the two special arm joints (thin middle part) to the shoulder joints. Add 5 regular joints to each arm. Finally, attach the hand piece to the joints (this can be stiff, so be patient). (All pieces printed in one section for ease of assembly).

   

   3. Attach the two special leg joints (pegs on both sides with longer middle piece). Add 5 regular joints to each leg. Finally, attach the foot piece to the joints.
