Yaesu Mobile Magnetic Mic Hanger

This mount isn't specific to the Bronco or the specific overhead Molle panel I'm using. If you have some metal someplace in your vehicle that you want to mount your mic then this could be a great option.

I have an overhead Molle panel in my Bronco and have always wanted a better way to mount the mics than the standard button mount as these kept falling out (I have both an FTM-500 and an FT-891 in the Bronco). I decided to create this magnetic mount that allows me to have the mic attach to my Molle mount which makes it super easy to reach and return. The magnets I used were from Amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07QW9RDVN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) and are super strong. So far this has managed to stay attached through some pretty gnarly terrain.

Once printed installing is simply a matter of removing the screw at the back of the mic and removing the button then replacing with this mount and screwing back in. I used some Gorilla super glue to attach the magnet.
