Bench Drill Press

Part of a Series

The bench drill press is part of a series of several models (mainly workshop equipment) that I designed for my engine shed (N gauge). I will gradually publish further models.

The Model

The bench drill press is an important device in every railway workshop or engine shed. The device is man-high and made of stable cast iron. It is already older, but still works perfectly. The bench drill press has a large rotatable lever on the right side (not in the model :p) and several switches on the front to make adjustments. The drill table sits on a stable base.

The model is approximately 21 x 13 x 3mm in size (scale 1:160 or N gauge). However, in Bambu Slicer, the size can easily be changed, so that it fits the scale, for example, to H0 (1:87) or TableTop, etc.

Instructions

Since the model is very small and filigree, you urgently need a 0.2mm nozzle to print it!

If it is printed with a larger nozzle, many details will be lost or not printed at all. The print profile includes the AMS option; you can print the bench drill press in two colors. However, this increases the printing time somewhat, taking about 40 minutes (see photo).
