Description

I needed a bench power supply and some research turned up the excellent Riden RK6006 and RK6006-BT (bluetooth). Found a new old-stock blower-fan in my stash and built an enclosure around the RK6006, the blower fan, banana jacks, dc-dc converter (to supply the fan) and an XT-60 connector to power the whole thing. I already have a 24v, 400W power supply with XT-60 output, so I use that to power this device. XT-60 is super-glued to back panel.

I also created a version designed to use a 40mm x 10mm fan (this one is a bit more rounded too) since I figure not too many of you have an Asus chipset blower fan from 2002. There is plenty of room to hot glue or tape a dc-dc converter for the fan, to the inside of the case, if you need one. This depends on your use-case.

The holes for attaching the bottom are designed to have M3 threaded inserts embedded.

Note: the RK6006 does not need a fan to operate - this also depends on your use-case. Use the 40mm fan version if you aren't using a fan; it's smaller.

I didn't include a power switch. I didn't need one and there are so many configurations, you can drill or cut a hole for one yourself. Let me know f you'd like one modelled in (I'll need exact dimensions).
