NEW Version Available:

Highly requested smaller version of my popular “The final coffee bean bag clip”.

For smaller bags or just cut the corner of bigger bags.

The cap is reworked to be more air tight, and the clip shrunken down as much as possible without making it harder to use.

The tenth of those you have seen probably, but implemented all the good stuff.
Snap lock lid, no printed threads, no screwing 3 turns, just snap it closed.
Easy to open and close, no fiddling and breaking your fingers.

The parts are print in place, no assembly or supports required.
Please dont move the clip parts or the hinge will not work.

Custom caps here:

Experimental TPU seals in the files.

The cap isn't exactly air tight. A good modification to this might be to make a large thread at that top for the cap to screw down tight on (better seal). Another option would be to provide a insert for the cap that you print in TPU/E to help seal it.

Aloha I have a question and as a noob I may be doing something wrong. I have a A1 with AMS and it printed amazingly; however on the bed side of the print the rotational joint fuzed and I was unable to open the clamp. Naturally the clamp broke. I'm sure it's a settings thing, I'm using Bambu official Black Matte PLA that has been flow calabrated. Any advise would be appreciated. Mahalo

Did you just use my print profile without any changes or one someone else made or changed something? Mine is tested thoroughly. It worked for thousands of people now without problems.

just curious, as i noticed you seem to instantly put blame on other people changing your print profile, why do you do this? if someone has an issue with the print profile you instantly assume their making changes to it just to give you a bad rating. if we post pictures about the print after it finished, it should be safe to assume its because of the print profile alone and not changes the person made. if the person made changes and it came out bad they shouldnt even be thinking about commenting under the post about it as their changes could have affected the print. just curious as to why you do that

also not thousands, you only have 1.2k prints on this model, thats not a valid reason for why hes having an issue with the print profile

Your coffee beans bag closure is a great part! I like the idea an good design. I added a TPU seal to my lid for complete sealing. both versions long and short are in use in our household now! Thanks for the design. Would love to upload my design, but that’s restricted.

Hi, how did you add the sealing? I was thinking about an O-Ring to seal it tightly.

I printed a flat TPU disk a bit larger than the lid inner diameter, just 2 or 3 mm in diameter larger, about 3 mm thick I guess and than I added a negative of this disk to the right position in the lid to generate the space, that negative part was just a little bit bigger than my TPU disk.

Support Issue:there’s no support at all? also how are we even supposed to assemble this? the parts don’t even flex nearly enough to put the part in. (this was printed off the app while I was at work, so this is the print profile itself) update: I just opened the file on pc, for the print profile creator, make sure you JOIN the 2 parts that are supposed to be print in place. not doing this ruined my print

Exactly, its print in place. The parts are positioned as they should be and it worked for hundreds of people without problem. If you dont mess with my print profile and dont use other peoples print profiles it needs no supports and no assembly. Please try again and revisit your rating.

Good day, I encountered an issue where the slicer indicated floating parts, prompting me to enable supports! The print was a failure. I would have appreciated it if you had included this information in your description regarding Print in Place and support-free printing. Otherwise, a fantastic piece. 👍

i didnt mess with your print profile, i used the app (which should mean your print profile is 100% printable with no issues) and i added 2 because i would like to have 2 of these. BUT because you didnt MERGE the two pieces, it ended up breaking the model. if you fix the print profile and merge them nobody would have the same issue i have. like i said, your print profile isnt meant for the app, this is meant more for a slicer download and modify. it needs to be fixed if you want it to be compatible with the app with no possibiliy of issues. not revisiting the rating.

Printed well. Used a 50mm x3mm neoprene O ring inside and it seals well. Works a treat

Unless something went seriously wrong you shouldnt be able to close it like that. The cap screws flush with the cap and seals with decently calibrated filment.

I am pretty sure my filament is calibrated as I have been printing tight tolerance parts for screws, bolts and nuts down to M5 etc..they all fit. Printed with basic PLA. The lid was extremely loose. Rattling loose so I just popped the O ring in and sealed it. Didn't realize it was meant to lock down firmly. Everything else about the print was great. Would it be worthwhile for me to try the lid at 98% or so to get a better fit? Printed your long version and the lid on that is noticeably tighter but when i try the long version of the lid on the mini it is also loose. Edit I have had another look at the O ring and you are correct- it is too tight with the O ring , I was only getting a partial closure. Have some TPU on order so will try the TPU gasket in the profiles.

Did you notice its a snap lock? You have to twist it over the little notches to lock it. Might be a little difficult the first couple of times. It should be reasonably air tight and not rattle at all if printed and assembled properly.

Its print in place, no assembly, there are no supports needed.

I think this happens to the other user commented as well. I am not sure what to adjust to fix this, if I turn on support option, there is no support automatically assigned either

Did you use PLA? I've experienced similar issues, albeit with PETG

Loving this! Tight to get closed since the clip covers the bag seam but better than a full sized one in my opinion. I might try to add a rubber grommet to the cap. Printed in Amazon Basics Gold PLA on my Ender 3v3 @ 0.12mm

If you find something to make a good seal at the top let us know! I had the same issue with the clamp closing around a thicker bag. It might be nice to add a way to ratchet down the clamp, just in case the bag is too thick. Still a great print.

Great design. Very clean print. Works great for dishwasher salt bag, easy poor and simple reseal. Lid is secure but not (air) tight. May add an oring or TPU seal sometime.
