Description

After the Norman Conquest of 1066, the invaders needed to be able to control the English population.  One of the ways they did so was by building castles, most of which were of the Motte and Bailey type.  Well over 700 Motte and Bailey castles were constructed in England and Wales during this period.

This is a model representing an early Norman Motte and Bailey castle, with a dry moat and wooden keep and palisades.

Scale is approximately 1:300, so it should be suitable for use in 6mm scale wargames.

This is my first published 3D printable model, so any feedback would be welcome.
