Description

In Buddhist terminology, "Ultimate Freedom" refers to a state of being unimpeded in action and free from afflictions of the mind. It describes an ideal state of liberation and ease, as mentioned in the Lotus Sutra, Chapter on the Prediction for Five Hundred Disciples: "They further heard that the Buddhas possess the great freedom and power of divine abilities." It is often used to signify a state of complete freedom, unbound and unhindered, representing ultimate spiritual liberation.
