Description
A hidden blade has been crafted, boasting a simple assembly and structure.
Print using my provided configuration; it's already pre-plated and set up. Small parts are packaged and individually configured; avoid modifying settings, as this may compromise structural integrity.
Maker's Supply lacks the necessary components, so I've listed them in the description. A supplementary video will be added here later.
Beyond the 3D printed parts, you'll need a 1mm steel rod or wooden dowel (cut to approximately 15mm, two pieces total),
springs (two types):
One is a 4x4x20mm extension spring (2) (a 3x3x20mm spring is also suitable; the latter is recommended for its more moderate tension),
and a 2x2mm compression spring (cut into 3-5mm segments, 2 needed),
plus adhesive.
Installation locations for the steel rod and compression spring
Feel free to print and enjoy.
However, this hidden blade currently has a critical flaw: when pressure is applied to the top cover, the mechanism is prone to jamming, preventing blade deployment.
