Bambu Lab Z-axis Screw Deep Cleaning and Maintenance Tool (For P, X, and H2D Series)

Print time and materials: A practical 9g tool that takes 30 minutes to print. Most materials work, PETG is recommended, followed by PLA. I used Bambu Lab PLA Stone Gray.

Name and function: Bambu Lab Z-axis Fast Maintenance Tool V2. Extended screw threads (more efficient and faster cleaning), allowing for deep cleaning of your machine in minutes, benefiting both you and your machine.

Target users: P1 and X1 series, H2D, perfect compatibility and amazing results.

Instructions: Attach the maintenance tool to the Z-axis screw and move it slightly to ensure proper engagement (adding a tissue and spraying some WD40 is recommended for better cleaning). Operate the machine—automatically raise or lower the bed. The tool will move up and down with the Z-axis screw, cleaning it. Repeat once or twice, then use clean tissue and repeat. After cleaning, you can add lubricating grease to the top of the tool and repeat the bed movement to lubricate the Z-axis screw.

Design concept: Other tools may not reach the deepest parts of the screw for thorough cleaning. A threaded tool is necessary for effective cleaning, thus the design of this tool.

Recommended print quantity: Print one for each Z-axis screw for material savings. For those who prefer more, print three—simultaneously clean the three screws.

Precautions: When moving the bed up and down, be careful not to overextend the tool.
