Description
I have designed, tested, and refined three different designs for acoustic panel hooks because I found the current selection in hardware stores, etc., unappealing. Ultimately, I arrived at three models:
The SlimHook is a narrow and minimalist hook, ideal for hanging lightweight accessories such as jewelry, scarves, and hats on acoustic or wall panels. Due to its slim design, the hook requires minimal space and is perfect for a discreet storage solution.
The WideHook offers a broad and robust solution for hanging larger items such as coats, bags, and towels. The wide design enables even weight distribution, which is particularly advantageous for heavier items.
The PowerMount is an innovative solution for attaching items to acoustic or wall panels without damaging them. It allows screws to be screwed directly into the PowerMount piece, so that light shelves, flower pot holders, or wall mounts can be securely attached.
All hooks can be easily screwed between the slats of the panels (13-15mm) without drilling or damaging the panels.
I printed my hooks in ABS-GF, which holds up exceptionally well. However, PETG and PLA with a higher infill should also not be a problem…
