Cozy Woodland Diorama

To gift something unique this Christmas I decided to remix several of my favorite models into a low poly diorama. I'm not a good modeller, so there might be a few issues, but everything printed fairly fine in the end.

I adjusted the base to fit two different transparent bowls, as I've adapted a 12cm transparent christmas bauble. Since the two sides were designed to fit into each other one is slightly larger, and that's the reasone for the two bases. It should be fairly easy to fit the model to your needs by scaling up or down. The two sides of the transparent bauble had a loop in order to hang it from a Christmas tree. I've removed them with an utility knife.

I printed the base upside down in order to get the shimmering effect from the PEI surface.

The upper hole is designed to snugly fit a flickering electric tealight and is designed to the specific dimensions of its rubber flame, so that it can fit through and not fall out. This allows for the bottom to be exposed and the switch to be easily accessible. Again, the upper hole should be easily scalable to your needs.

The bottom hole, again, is designed to my specific model of tealight (standard 38mm), with a little wiggle room so that the tealight itself could be grasped with some tiny prongs for removal/to change it were it to break.

The models themselves are to be glued on top, so you can be creative and place them wherever you like.

The campfire has a hollow flame and fits on top of the upper hole, to hide the original flame from the tealight and to diffuse the light.
