Do you want to give someone a gift, but also want to make them work for it? This is the item for you!
The puzzle is not simple, in fact, it's impossible! Well, at least the maze that they think they need to solve to get to the gift is impossible since it never reaches the top. It's really opened by unscrewing the bottom piece. Once they figure that out, it'll still take a lot of work to finally unscrew the inner piece and get to their precious gift!
The interior of the tube is about 59.6 mm, so it's more than big enough for a standard gift card.
Printing Tips
Don't scale! Scaling down doesn't work. The space between the maze and the outer lid becomes too big and you're able to just pull the lid on and off.
If you're not using the provided print profile, no more than 5% infill (I used grid) and the standard two walls will work out just fine.
Tolerance between the maze and the lid are tight at just 0.1mm on each side, but in my testing it works very well.
More Puzzle Tubes!
I have puzzle tubes in my puzzle tubes collection. That collection also has a version of this impossible tube with regular threads on the inner piece just in case you want to make it a little easier.
Assembly:
If you need help assembling, here's a quick tutorial:
Step 1:
You should have the inner screw, the maze tube, the lid cap, and one lid (there are five to choose from)

Step 2:
With the maze tube open side up, slide the lid over it. Make sure the little nub on the lid is at the top. If you try to do it with the nub on the bottom, it won't work anyway since you'll be trying to solve the impossible maze.

Step 3:
With the lid around the maze, flip the whole thing over 180 degrees. The inner maze piece will now have the closed end at the top.
Glue on the lid cap being careful to line it up with the octagon shape so it looks like it printed in one piece.

Step 4:
Fill the bottom part (the part with the hexagon base) with your gift

Step 5:
Screw in the base. I recommend moving the lid up a little into the maze so you can grab onto the maze part as you screw in the base. Holding on to the lid instead of the maze piece as you screw will put unnecessary pressure on the maze walls. When it's all the way in, you might want to give it an extra twist to make sure it doesn't start to unscrew easily and hides the secret.

Step 6:
Go find someone to torture with this fun puzzle tube!
