Description
Beats by Dr.Dre - Beatbox portable Stereo conversion kit
This allows you to turn the “Beatbox” speaker into a stereo home system.
Salvaging some part, not all. Because not everything is needed:
- Main board
- power/volume controller
- Aux input jack
- power input jack
Additionally you'll need some wires (depends on how far apart everything is needed for you). I bought 3 wires (red,black,white) - 5 meters, each - 0.5 mm² cable, some M3 screws, brass inserts.
You'll need to extend the aux connection by a bit (soldering recommended), twisting the wires with pliers is enough, just heat shrink all the new connections. Also you'll want to extend the tweeter speaker wire (to your needs). I added 20cm to left speaker and 1meter to the right.
Super glue/Hot glue will be your friend here :)
