Krabby Patty (Multicolor Assembly, Openable, Pull-Out, Realistic Supersized Version)

This is a colossal Krabby Patty restaurant model, featuring a pull-out interior and double-opening sides, meticulously recreated from the comics. Its multi-color assembly printing optimizes time and material usage, though the exterior frame requires a considerable amount of filament and has been extensively hollowed out. Divided into left and right sections, these must be assembled individually before being joined using connecting pins for opening and closing functionality.

Several crucial points require prior attention:

1: The roof is quite heavy. When attaching it to the mesh side walls, ensure precise alignment. Ideally, construct the entire exterior framework first, using tape for temporary adhesion before attaching the roof structure. Otherwise, alignment proves difficult. The roof's considerable size and weight may necessitate hot glue for secure attachment, as standard adhesives might cause slippage. While hot glue leaves unsightly residue on the roof's edges, I've included covering components to enhance aesthetics. If a hot glue gun isn't available, consider adhering the two roof halves directly, creating a hinged opening mechanism instead of a pull-out design; this also presents an attractive alternative. The choice is yours. Crucially, avoid gluing the green ground section to the exterior frame (it easily bonds to both mesh sides), lest it immobilizes the interior, creating a very strong bond.

2: Assembly is relatively straightforward, though precise alignment at the opening and closing points is paramount for optimal aesthetics. Some parts require insertion (e.g., the table necessitates three rings assembled as one), potentially needing minor sanding for seamless integration. Sanding is only required for a few pieces, and while the model's design ensures a tight fit, expect minor discrepancies (approximately 0.1mm) due to printing variations.

3: I incorporated small bulbs, as recommended, to enhance three-dimensionality. I've also included small hamburger models for additional customization; their configurations are detailed below.

The model's substantial size rivals a real-life crab trap, but I am confident it will justify the time and material investment.

Construction and assembly are time-consuming endeavors. I've optimized the design to be printable on an A1 Mini; P1S users can adjust the arrangement for enhanced compactness and speed. Smaller parts require raft support; it's recommended to wash the panels to improve adhesion.
