Description
I printed a few Duplo compatible pieces so my daughter could build a park (started with these awesome slides. When I asked her what to print next she asked for a swing, I searched Makerworld and didn't find anything so decided to have a go modelling it myself.
I have tried to make it easy to print with no supports so some assembly is required. Putting it together is fairly straightforward:
- The "chains" should be connected to the seat first by sliding them in sideways and rotating them.
- The "chains" can then be clipped over the top frame by pushing them in the grooves provided.
- The side legs can be pushed onto the top frame, you can optionally glue these in place if the fit isn't tight enough.
I used hexagons in the legs to attach to another Duplo brick so it can be printed without any supports.
I printed it in Matte PLA and in PETG and found that the PETG would swing better, but the PLA started swinging better after playing with it.
