Update June 26 2025: Added a new profile with with a threaded lid that prints in separate parts, includes a bottom post and prints without supports!

--

Update March 10 2025: Added a new profile for a new version that prints the lid with supports as a single piece without the threaded portion. The loop to attach the holder was moved from the cap to the body. This new version prints on a single plate and retains variable layer heights.

Update Jan 2 2025: First off, happy new year and thank you everyone for all the boosts, ratings and support for this model! Your feedback and help truly are invaluable. I updated my profile to include two plates. The first plate is the holder with the original cap. Turning it clockwise will lock and unlock repeatedly. The second plate has a new cap with stoppers. Turning it clockwise will lock and needs to be turned counterclockwise to unlock.

NOTE: The original profile includes modifiers and settings that are essential for creating a strong, functional container. If you create your own profile, please take a moment to review and replicate the original profile's modifier and settings.

Please remember to rate your prints!

General 3d Printing Tips

  • Make sure your printing plate is clean! Oils from your skin can cause adhesion issues for your prints. Regularly wash your print plate with a detergent like Dawn, and avoid touching the surface when removing prints from the bed.
  • If it's an option on your printer, always level the bed before each print. If you have to perform this manually, do so after every few prints. It takes a bit of time and patience, but it's a fair trade for reliable results.
  • Ensure bed and nozzle temperatures are within the expected range for the material you're printing. Temperatures that are too high or too low can negatively affect the print, causing warping, malformed layers, or adhesion issues.
  • Reduce your printing speed. Slower speeds are especially important for overhangs, as they give the material more time to cool as it's deposited.
