Compact Pipe Cutter: Precise and Versatile Tool for PVC, Copper, and Aluminum Pipes

 

Product Description:

This Compact and Robust Pipe Cutter is designed for precision cuts on PVC, copper, and aluminum pipes. Its ergonomic design fits easily in hand and can cut pipes ranging from 3mm to 32mm (1/8” to 1 1/4”). Whether you’re a professional or a DIY enthusiast, this tool ensures clean, efficient cuts every time.

Built with durability in mind, the cutter can be printed in PLA or PETG, but for enhanced strength, Prusament PCCF or PC Blend is recommended, especially for the rollers, ensuring longer-lasting performance.

Printing Instructions:

Layer Height: 0.15mm to 0.2mm

Supports: Required (optimal results with soluble supports via MMU or dual-extrusion printers)

Material: PLA, PETG, PCCF, or PC Blend for maximum durability

For improved accuracy, soluble supports allow for zero-gap contact, yielding a smoother finish.

The 5mm Blade Head is specifically designed for 4.9mm Würth Blade or 4.9mm INOX Würth Blade

Could you make a version with a cutting size of 40mm? I cannot use the current cutting size! I would be very grateful if you could!

If the dimensions are increased, I’m not sure it would hold up well under continuous use over time. It could deform more easily after each use and become unusable fairly quickly. A quick workaround you could try is adding a negative cylindrical volume directly in the slicer. This way you can create a cylindrical cut sized for 40 mm, which is probably the fastest and simplest solution without modifying the original model.

Thank you for the feedback! Could you provide a bit more detail about what you think could be improved? Any specific suggestions would be very helpful. That said, it is perfectly normal that it does not offer the same performance as a version made entirely of metal. However, when assembled correctly, it works without any issues, as you can see in the video included in the description.
