Description

This is one of the first models I've made i am an amateur and any recommendations are appreciated

The Sword is 110cm long or about 43 inches

The sword is cut into printable bits including the blade which is cut into 8 sections

Each part is held together with the others with pins i would suggest gluing the pieces together with the pins to make them stay correctly orientated.

The 10mm pins are for the blade sections - 20 are needed
The 60mm pins are for the handle, guard and blade collar - 2 are needed

print blades pointing upwards, if you want stronger pins use more walls/perimeters and change orientation to be on their sides brim is recommended

This is a flawed model really only good for display currently, i am in the process of / have posted a new katana model which is much sturdier but not modeled off of the murasama and also uses some parts that aren't 3d printable.
