This is a triple token counter for Magic the Gathering. The tracker consists of a Treasure token counter, a Clue token counter and a Food token counter. I tried to make this as close to a regular card as I could, but it is a bit taller and a bit slimmer and comes in at 4.0mm thick once assembled. See the photo of a card next to it to get a size comparison.
This is not an original idea, as I was browsing Etsy looking for Garth, One-Eyed copy tokens and saw something similar to this made out of (I assume) thick cardstock. So, I wanted to take a stab at making a 3D printed version in the same style as my other counters and trackers. All in all, I think it turned out decent. It is 8 separate parts: a top, a bottom and 6x dials:
- Each token has its own 00-99 counter made of up 2x dials (a left dial and a right dial)
- There is also a blank version so you can make your own custom triple token tracker, if you need / want different tokens instead of Treasure / Clue / Food
- I might make a Blood token / Map token / Junk token / Gold token / Shard token version in the future, if there is interest from the community

Assembly
There are 6 snaps. You will need to apply pressure to where each of these snaps are on the top and bottom. It does take a bit of force to fully snap the pieces together. Once snapped together, there shouldn't be any gaps between any of the pieces and no bulging on the top and bottom. Don't be alarmed if you hear snapping sounds. Mine snapped like 10 times before everything was tightly assembled.
For my print, the tolerances were perfect and everything snapped together without the need of glue. If for whatever reason your tracker won't stay together, apply a small drop of super glue on the bottom piece inside each female snap connector.

Printing Tips
- I highly recommend printing the artwork and text in black and using a light colored background so the text/artwork are easily seen
- The artwork looks very strange in other colors (optical illusion, maybe?)
- You will need to make sure you have near perfect bed adhesion
- There are tons of small sections when the artwork and text are printing
- Make sure you thoroughly wash your build plate with Dawn dish soap to remove any hand/finger oils. If you are still having trouble with adhesion and are using the PEI Smooth/Textured plate, try bumping the bed's temperature up 5 or 10 degrees (60 or 65 degrees).
- It is not recommended to use âSportâ or âLudicrousâ mode when printing this
- Please just use the âStandardâ option to ensure a successful, great looking print
- While all the photos were done using a 0.4mm nozzle, this print would greatly benefit from a 0.2mm nozzle
- The text and especially the artwork will be much crisper with finer details
