Description

Gingerbread man straw topper!!! At wife's request!!!

Filled in the hole at the top, adjusted the sizing, added a negative so it will accommodate a thick straw.

-Used arachne for walls to try and fill all the gaps.

-Can be printed without supports!!

-If using supports I would recommend leaving the “Top Z distance” at .25 from the print profile to allow for easier support removal.

Also tip for removal using tweezers or pick insert it into the hole and rotate it breaking the supports free and pulling them out straight. Otherwise you can damage the walls as they are thin in parts.

This was printed with an AMS but could also be printed without if you utilized a “pause” or “filament change” feature in the slicer around layer 56. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to do this.

how can this be a straw topper with no hole in it?

When on a computer you should be able to see a light grey cylinder going through it before you hit slice, it can look faint. I do not think this is ever visbile when using the mobile app. On a computer after you hit slice, you'll be able to see a clear hole while on the preview tab, but I was unable to make the negative show while viewing it from the mobile app.
