Description

P1S Scale Model 1:5 (Remix)

This project began with the incredible work of @Panda63, who created one of the most detailed and accurate 1:5 scale models of the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon available. I wanted a version that looked like my own P1S, but couldn’t find one anywhere — so I decided to try modifying Panda63’s model using only Bambu Studio. At the time, I had no CAD experience at all. This was my first-ever upload to MakerWorld, and it became my first real dive into remixing and customizing a model to reflect something personal.

The monitor was replaced with one from @AskNinjaTom’s P1S Ornament to reflect the P1S layout, and I made several visual changes to match the front panel and structure more closely. I also added cutouts for the glass door and lid, which I filled with tinted PVC sheets to replicate the look of actual glass (link below). The Bambu Lab logo is embedded into the body, and the lettering for P1S and AMS was added using Bambu Studio’s paint tool.

The version you see in the photos was printed with a 0.2mm nozzle for ultra-fine detail and painted directly in Bambu Studio. It looks great — but it does take over 24 hours to print the full body with AMS and color changes. Since then, I’ve added other print-friendly versions too.

Remix Base Models and Contributors:

All credit goes to these designers — I just stitched their work together and tweaked the details to make something closer to the printer on my own desk.

Included Versions:

  • Full-detail 0.2mm nozzle version with painted lettering
  • 0.4mm version (faster, still includes color changes)
  • No-AMS version with glue-on logos (based on Panda63’s original style)
  • Alternate monitor version with Panda Touch / BIGTREE TECH
  • PETG print profiles for transparent “glass” on door and lid

Updates:

  • April 27, 2025: Added transparent PETG profiles and alternate monitor
  • March 19, 2025: All print profiles updated to remove LIDAR (X1C-only feature)
  • October 2, 20205: In case you may have noticed, a commenter pointed out that the logo in the pictures was upside down! No one noticed until today, including me. I have since flipped the logo on all models so it should be fixed now.

Accessories Used:

Filaments Used (for my version):

  • Main Body & Chute: Bambu PLA Metal – Iron Gray Metallic
  • Monitor: Bambu PLA Metal Iron Gray, PLA Basic Black, CC3D Silk Silver
  • White Lettering & Logos: Bambu PLA Basic – White
  • Heated Bed: PLA Basic Black and PLA Matte Gray
  • Handles & Guide Rods: CC3D Silk Silver
  • Extruder: PLA Matte Gray and PLA Basic Black
  • Build Plate: PLA Basic Gold with White Lettering
  • AMS: PETG Translucent Gray and PLA Basic White

This was a small experiment that turned into a surprisingly detailed remix. I’m still learning, but this first step taught me a lot and pushed me into design work I never thought I’d try. If you’re new like I was, don’t be afraid to remix — it’s a great way to learn.
