Description

Light Box is designed from the Fortnite Logo. There is a 15x10mm negative object called `Cutout in back plate for wires` on the back plate for LED wires that can be adjusted to fit your need. Be sure to remove the purge lines to be on the safe side.

There are 2 pauses on the first couple layers to inspect/clean whisps off in my profile.

Very happy with profile. Did get caught out with the pauses as I set the back plate to print and went to bed. was waiting for me to resume from the 1st pause when I got up in the morning

worked great! I used RGB ic lights inside and extruded the translucent text to be proud of the face using petg. I used PLA for the body.

how did you get it to have the letter stand out from the box?

I downloaded the files into Rhino and extruded the text, added a silhouette and Boolean joined them. It fits into the backplate like a puzzle piece and stays with a little lexel adhesive.

great print! had some major bed adhesion issues but slowed it down and got it to work with carbon fiber plate. I also knocked a 10mm hole in the back plate to run the led strip through and used a rubber grommet to protect the sharp edge from rubbing cord. I also backed the back plate with aluminum tape for increased light. love how this design is pressure fit back with no adhesive needed! great design element.

I haven't yet rated it, as I'm experiencing an issue, though the problem may originate on my end. The two colors aren't blending correctly. Any ideas on how to rectify this within the printer settings? Thank you

Hello friend, I experienced this due to a temperature difference between two different materials, standard PLA for the lettering and PLA Silk for the body, I solved it by increasing the temperature of the material that goes later by 5°C, in my case the Silk, the bed I kept at 60°C Test a print's temperature for example, that's how I did it since I had two errors on this issue
