Wall Mount Type 2 Charging Cable

This simple and robust wall mount for the charging connector (vehicle side) securely holds the connector when not in use.

The wall mount protects the contacts from contamination, eliminating the need for a dust cap.

The inner contour further enhances the protection of the contacts.

The charging connector can be conveniently parked within easy reach when not charging.

This wall mount intentionally lacks a locking mechanism.

I find the handling significantly more convenient without a locking mechanism, both for removal and reinsertion.

In case of accidental snagging, for example, I prefer that the connector can be unintentionally pulled out and possibly fall to the ground, rather than risk damaging the cable, connector, or wall mount.

Simple installation with four 4.5mm countersunk screws.

I have created an additional print profile, "Type 2 wall bracket (-1.5mm)," incorporating the first two variants but with adjusted dimensions.
The dimension to the inner horizontal surface has been adjusted from 57.5 mm to 56 mm (see dimensional drawing).
The charging connector is slightly more difficult to insert here, but it fits even better and slips out less easily.
I created this variant based on the constructive comment from fam_b (2024-01-04).
Since both variants have their advantages, I have not adjusted the first two print profiles, but instead created this additional, third print profile.
