Description

Glock 43x/48 magwell. It sits very tight and features a lock-nut in the back and ribs to hold onto the frame. Use any screw you want, for instance the leftover screws that come with Bambu printers, countersink screws are recommended for flush fit. It does work without the screw and the lock-nut. All mags supported.

  • v1, no front lip, left a gap, heavy overhangs
  • v2, with lip, improved overhangs
  • v3, fixes overhangs
  • v4, thicker ribs give it a better fit (use brute force to put it on), it won't move even a little
  • v5, eliminates potential problems with mags, slightly thicker walls for more strength

Saw from reddit - it's probably one of the first 43x magwells I printed and placed and didn't have to immediately go back and modify. You nailed the gun dimensions. I did have to downsize the plug 1.5% to get it to fit but TBH you barely need it.

Thanks! The plug is slightly out of spec in order for it to sit as tight as it could. You should be able to push it in with some force starting with the two edges, then you can press down the arc. And for getting it out again you insert a longer screw and wiggle it out.

any chance with your modeling skills that you could make that back strap thicker? I need it to push my giant hand way back. I've tried and can't figure it out

Have you tried stretching it a little in Bambu-Studio? Though i guess that could mess up the indexing pins. I have the same issue btw, my solution was switching to a G19 https://makerworld.com/en/models/1212100-glock-19-mos-gen-5-magazine-well.

I have asked quite a few people about that filament because I could have gotten some cheap, everyone says don't use it because it'll break apart easily man

Let me first say this is a great design. However, I've been having reliability issues after installing it. So, what happened was the magazine came loose every couple of rounds. And after examination, I think I might've found the issue. In the pic#1, there is no gap after installation, but a gap (pic#2) showed up after shooting. So my pinky was pushing on the magwell, then the magwell pushed on the baseplate of the magazine (see the marks on pic#3) and forcing it to come loose. I suggest instead of putting the lip (pic#4) in the middle, put two lips on both sides (pic#5) where the magazine baseplate won't touch.

Makes sense. So less of a lip in the middle and more on the sides. Will make adjustments and ping you.

@katana93 could you try again, should be better now. The lip now curves around the magwell w/o going over it.

hello I wanted to come here and see if I could get some guidance with this. I’m new to printing and have tried cleaning the plate and checking the nozzle.the filiment isn’t wet. this is my second print with this model and it did this again. I’m not saying anything’s wrong with who Made it. I’m just hoping to get pointed in the right direction please and thank you

looks like warping. some filaments warp, others don't. assuming bed temp is already correctly set, you can use glue, and / or brims in order to force stuff to remain on the bed.

looks great and fits great. Just a heads up. It does not work if you are running Shield Arms magazines.

I have tried to print this three different times without success. I'm not sure what's going on with it. Anything else I print works just fine. Cleaned plate, dried filament for 8 hours, calibrated. P1S.

if it's slipping off the plate, add a brim to keep it in place.
