Slide earring tray into lid.
Assemble the shorter ribbons first
Followed by the longer ribbons.
Add earrings of choice!

anyone else have a problem sliding the earring hanger piece in the lid

It does happen to some people based on the quality of the filament. You can use some sandpaper on the slide in piece edges to loosen the tolerance up a little. I should probably release a version of the lid as one piece. I will try to do that when I get time, sorry it didn't work easily for you (usually it slide right in).

Any chance you can release a version with the lid as one piece? Not sure what the purpose was of having the sliding piece. Love the overall design, just not that one piece.
