A rectangular model of a protective case for the Philips Norelco Oneblade

Nice present for someone or for yourself a handy case for your Oneblade.

It fits perfectly. Lots have printed it out succesfully. Please rate the model and add a picture of your case.

Easy to print (PETG/PLA)

Recommendation when it closes tight:

It closes tight and perfectly.

If it closes too tight, just sand or file the 2 small semicilindrical notches a little and it will close very easy.

Please boost the model and, if you like, leave a picture of your printed case below in a comment.

Success! Happy printing.

Printed in PETG and broke immediately.

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you dried your filament and used the right speed and temperature?

I've had the same issue. I think the design needs some improvement. More visual differentiation to identify what direction does the cap need to go. Some lips on the side to be able to grab it easily when opening it. And a stronger tab design.

nice and quick print.finished right in time for my flight, usually the blade breaks during those. feels incredibly solid, built like a tank. opening it could be a little easier but I don't mind too much since I won't use it all that often. pro tip is to not remove it from the plate until it has cooled tho, I didn't wait and the lid warped a little. s

Hi, thanks for your comment and have a good flight. It closes firmly, but a little sanding on the 2 "lips" will make it a lot easier

perfect fit, the tabs are a little brittle with PLA

Assembly presents minor challenges, otherwise the device fits perfectly and is quite robust

good design, could be better if there were tabs added for easier opening

this struggled to print on my P1S but printed fine on my X1C. I tried 2 x on the P1S and both times it failed once it started to print the sides up. I then broke the one that worked when I tried to close it. the tolerance was very tight. but even with one of the tabs broken off, it still shuts and with a rubber band I’ll make it work. 😀 Thanks for the file.

Hi, I can only test it on my X1C. No issue at all with tolerances, but I consider to make a version where the tabs ale more loose, will that work?

I think that would work.

Fits perfectly, it is a very secure snap to secure the lid to the container... Almost requiring a coin or something small for leverage, but I don't see this as a detriment as I'd rather not have it opening up after being shuffled in a bag.
