Directions:

 

Push your coin tray up to the cash dollar bills.

This allows for the small space near the key side to open up allowing the lid to easily snap into place.

Place the lid into a position with the overhang part face down closest to the side with the key.

Make sure to center it.

Press down on the two corners closest to the key sides containing the overhang piece.

This shouldn't take much force. Just enough to hear a snap.

Then your lid is on!

 

Additional step. (optional)

If you want to ensure it stays on press down in the middle of the side with the overhang close to the key.
