Description

I loved the knitted snowman by @dimensional.pl, but he seemed lonely. :) So I added a snowwoman (snowgirl?) to the build!

I also reorganized things for AMS printing, so all of the detail objects are now on the same build plate, printed by object to minimize filament changes. Right now this is set up for 5-color (2-AMS) printing, but it should be trivial to print the bodies in white and then remap the other 4 colors to your AMS as appropriate. I added a second head and body to the first build plate as well, so that the time estimate here on the site would be accurate. If you just need to print the snowwoman, the time would be able half.

Thanks to @dimensional.pl for updating the original model to allow remixes, so that I could share this!

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it! :)

Update: I've added two more profiles (requested) to enable printing without the need of an AMS. Both profiles have all the objects separated by color (one color per plate). The second profile also has a pause inserted during the printing of the snowwoman's hat, so that you can optionally swap filaments and color the puff on the top of her hat a different color (e.g. white).

Update 2: I really appreciate the boosts very much and thank you everyone who has sent them! Also please consider boosting the original model, because without it this one would not exist! Just follow this link to @dimensional.pl's original model and drop them a boost to say thanks!

Update 3: I added two profiles at 50% scale, since they were requested by multiple users. Also, for you A1/mini users, I suggest starting with the 50% scale models, then moving elements around on the plates; you may need to add another 1-2 plates to get everything to fit correctly. Also note that some objects are merged; you can split them back to objects if you are making plates by color, and they will lay out easier.

Update 4: I added a print profile that now works with the A1 and A1 mini! I reorganized things on the plates for minimal color changes (there is now 1 additional plate in this profile), and I also disabled print by layer for 2 of the plates; the A1 (mini) balks at traditional timelapse when print by layer is on, and there wasn't really a need for it. So, for all of you that wanted to print these models but had an A1 or A1 mini, now's your chance! :)

Update 5: I added a 60% scale model that I also updated the hat on so it has a loop, so you can print, assemble, and hang the snowman as an ornament! Enjoy!
